The purpose of this Code of Ethics is to ensure members adhere to the standards and principles of the Saskatchewan Independent Automotive Professionals. The publication of this Code will further serve to strengthen the relationship between the independent automotive service provider, their clients and the members of their communities.
The role of the independent automotive service provider is to advise and councel the consumer in preventative vehicle maintenance and repair in a knowledgeable and professional manner. With this position comes the responsibility to uphold and evolve the standards of the profession for the continuing benefit of clients, employees and industry peers. An independent automotive service provider’s success is rooted in integrity, competence and accountability.
